EAST LANSING – Kent City’s quest for an undefeated continues after a 59-53 win over Calumet on Wednesday afternoon at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
Kent City (21-0) was led by Jenna Harrison with 15 points. Madelyn Geers added 14 points, while Kenzie Bowers finished with 13. Lexie Bowers was also in double figures with 10 points.
Calumet’s Elli Djerf scored a game-high 22 points.
Kent City advances to the Division 3 state championship game, where they will play Grass Lake. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday.
Grass Lake advanced to the championship game after their semifinal opponent Hemlock had a member of the team test positive with COVID-19.
